To empower individuals to release their inherent intellectual capacities and to build quality lives leading to a legacy of wisdom and humanity. We foster belief in the stewardship of the environment; promote the building of relationships among all people, without discrimination in race, religion, or sexual orientation; and center our focus upon the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical aspects of our shared past, the present, and with faith in the future.




Mission Statement

THE BRIDGE’s mission and goals are to create the capacity to enhance economic development, to provide access to skill upgrade training for incumbent workers, to encourage access to non-traditional career ladder opportunities through pre-apprenticeship to apprenticeship positions, to enhance the opportunities for at-risk and disadvantaged youth through leadership development along with career ladder opportunities, to enhance entrepreneurial spirit and capacity of our participants, to improve vocational literacy in math and reading and most importantly, to help each and every person acheive the skills needed to earn a living wage which will create social and economic stability.

To Support Our Youth, Our Culture, And all who are at risk who just need someone to reach out so they can Step Up!

Education is the greatest gift of all for youths of any cultural background. Many of our young scholars continue to face a shortage of mentors, financial support and opportunities to pursue higher education. And for many at risk young adults basic job skills and life skills are not commonly provided in our schools and are essential to getting even a gap job.

Since its inception, The BRIDGE & its various programs have been extremely successful in creating peer advocacy and bridging the educational divide for many youth and young adults. Through the innovative programs offered through YNS/Intertribal Youth, & our BRIDGE's To Success programs participants learn, grow and embrace their unique identity as we address the holistic Native philosophy of nurturing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects on each individual, thereby inspiring a future of personal success.
With your guidance, support and mentorship, our programs can broaden our role in providing educational enrichment and opportunities for our youth and those at-risk in our communities.
